Aquarius Records is proud to announce its latest signing.
RIDES AGAIN is a high-energy, melody-driven three-piece rock band from Oshawa, made up of the Peyton brothers; Nathan (on guitar) and Chad (on bass), plus new drummer Kelly Voelkel.
Rides Again debuted on their own Put It On Records in 2007 with the aptly entitled “Into Existence”. Throughout the next year the band made a powerful first impression on Canadian audiences, headlining their own shows and touring in support of bands like Theory of a Deadman and Hedley.
The first Rides Again album featured the single/video “Wonder Why”, produced by Gavin Brown (Billy Talent, Metric) received lots of exposure. The follow-up single, “Infected” was co-produced by the band members themselves along with Harry Hess. It cracked the national Rock Top 20 and was a Top 10 hit on Southern Ontario’s top alternative rock station, The Edge.
Rides Again is now at work on a new album, “Breaking Out”. Once again the album title reflects what’s actually happening in the band’s world. You can hear a “board mix” of one of the new tracks, “Time Bomb” by visiting the Rides Again Myspace site.
Aquarius is very happy to be part of the next chapter of the Rides Again story. The new Rides Again CD will be out in March but expect a new radio track as early as December

Since forming in the 90’s, Gob is synonymous with “Punk”.
The 2001 release “The World According to Gob” was both a commercial breakthrough and a turning point for the band. That album showed off how Gob’s playing and songwriting skills were making great strides. Their latest release, “Meurtos Vivos”, establishes that Gob has evolved from a great punk band to a great rock band. Radio loved “Underground”, not for its punk delivery but for a sound that borders on Metal. Their most recent video (for the melodic “Banshee Song”) will come as a real surprise to a lot of people;

The newest act on Aquarius is Yesterday’s Ring, a band from Montreal that shows where a punk band can go when it leaves the city far behind.
The Sainte-Catherines are legendary in their homeprovince of Quebec and also toured all over North America during the past 8 years. Yesterday’s Ring was born when, after endless hours driving in a van and listening to the radio, the Sainte-Catherines developed a taste for Country music. A few years ago, they released a punk-Country EP under the name Yesterday’s Ring. This was followed by an LP and soon there was a demand for live shows by Yesterday’s Ring. People loved the band… all kinds of people. Now Aquarius is releasing a new album from Yesterday’s Ring called “Diamonds in the Ditch”. It is also scheduled for release in The United States and Germany. http://www.myspace.com/yesterdaysringmtl
