Sum 41 “All Killer, No Filler”
“All Killer, No Filler”: Rolling Stone described “Fat Lip” as “a neat genre hat trick: a pop-punk song in which (Sum 41) rapped about their allegiance to heavy metal.” Thrown in songs that generated two of the funniest videos MTV ever aired, “In Too Deep” and “Pain For Pleasure”, and it’s no wonder “All Killer, No Filler” was the band’s all-time best-selling CD.

Sum 41 “Half-Hour of Power”
Officially this debut release from Sum 41 was an “EP” but since it’s nearly as long, and contains just as many songs as other Sum 41 LP’s, “Half-Hour of Power” is a must-have for any fan of the band. The best known song could be “Makes No Difference” or it could be the original version of “What We’re All About” (later made famous in a Spiderman movie.)

SUM 41 related CD: The Operation M.D.
While on tour together, Sum’s Cone McCaslin and guitarist Todd Morse from Juliette and the Licks, discovered that they had a mutual talent for partying. This in turn led to a songwriting collaboration that led to an album entitled “We Have an Emergency”. This record sounds a lot different from Sum 41’s music. Whereas Sum 41 sometimes approaches the brink of “Pop-rock”, The Operation M.D. dives right in there.

DANKO JONES
“Sleep is the Enemy”: The first album Danko Jones released on Aquarius Records was actually his 4th full-length album. “Sleep is the Enemy” was aptly titled since this release entailed more touring in more different countries than any other Danko Jones record. JEREMY FISHER
Jeremy Fisher released “Goodbye Blue Monday” on Aquarius in 2007. Apart from some backing vocals and one piano track, all of the playing and singing was done by Jeremy and producer Hawksley Workman. This wasn’t Jeremy’s first album. “Back Porch Spirituals” was a 2002 “home-made” recording of blues/folk songs that Jeremy sold off-stage as he traveled North America on his famous bicycle tour. In 2004 Sony-BMG released “Let it Shine” and Jeremy enjoyed a lot of critical acclaim and significant radio success in Canada with the song “High School”. However it was “Goodbye Blue Monday” that led to Jeremy’s first worldwide release by Wind Up Records outside of Canada. (The Wind Up CD also includes the original version of “High School”). The best-known track from “Goodbye Blue Monday” is “Cigarette” and that is mainly due to an animated video created by Jeremy himself. More than 2.2 million viewers have watched the video on Youtube.

SUM 41 «Does This Look Infected?»
“Does This Look Infected?”: At the end of 2002 Sum 41 unleashed “Infected” which included tracks like “The Hell Song”, “Over My Head (Better off Dead)” and “Still Waiting”. The Canadian CD is the “explicit” version (a “clean” version was offered in the United States), but what’s most explicit in this album it the growing power of Sum 41’s playing.

DANKO JONES on Aquarius!
“Never Too Loud”: Danko Jones’ most recent studio album was released in early 2008. The singles included two songs that are “classic Danko”; “Code of the Road” and “King of Magazines” as well as “Take Me Home” which surprised a lot people with its hooky sing-along chorus. Produced by Grammy-award winner, Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Alice in Chains, Rush and others) “Never Too Loud” shows how Danko can sound different, but always sounds “Danko”.

DANKO JONES
Early in 2009 the first three Danko Jones albums were released digitally on iTunes Canada by Aquarius: “Born a Lion” was first released on Universal in 2002 and “We Sweat Blood” was released by Universal in 2003. Both albums earned Juno Award nominations for “Rock Album of the Year” and the video for “Lovercall” was also Juno-nominated. Danko Jones was dropped by Universal in 2004 for voicing support for the fans right to download music, but that’s no reflection on these two amazing recordings. The first full-length album by Danko Jones was released on Bad Taste Records in Europe. “I’m Alive and On Fire” shows the great potential that Danko Jones would soon be recognized around the world.

Yesterday's Ring
Diamonds in The Ditch, produced and recorded by the band themselves, features heartfelt and catchy songs that people will have trouble getting out of their heads. Country, Folk, Rock, Pop, Punk…heavily influenced by the greatest songwriters of our time, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Waits, Tom Petty, Bod Dylan, Billy Joel, Lucinda Williams, Steve Earle and Shane Macgowan of The Pogues. “The album is like a road trip. It’s a story about someone that leaves Montreal to get away from drugs, alcohol and a girl, of course. The hero drives all the way to Florida only to realize that it’s all the same over there. He comes back to Montreal, to find things better even though nothing has really changed. He realizes that where one lives doesn’t bring happiness, happiness must be brought to one's sell.“ Yesterday's Ring will tour the world with Diamonds in The Ditch and everywhere they will go, people will wonder: “How come I didn’t know this band before ? “ People and critics used to call them “one of the best side projects around”. With the new record, they will simply be knows as “one of the best bands around”.
